Paragon • “The Fine Art of Skincare”

Paragon is a skincare company that is very transparent about where their ingredients come from and how they help your skin. Made with high quality plants, these face masks will enhance your appearance and through repeated use, will leave you looking your absolute best. Paragon prioritizes its customer’s comfort with the products they are using; informing them about the way that their products are created; and overall making their skincare shopping experience easier and enjoyable.

DESIGN CONCEPT

People use skincare to make their skin look as flawless as possible, so I compared the smooth results that you get after doing a face mask to ancient Roman sculptures. These monumental

works of art are regarded for being examples of the perfect form of beauty, which is echoed in the company name, Paragon: “a person or thing viewed as a model of excellence.”

THEMATIC TREATMENT

I styled and photographed three models as Roman sculptures on a relaxing day out. I edited the photos to give a vintage feel, and the website and packaging were designed with a collage approach. I layered different colors, herbs, textures, and images to create drama, while still keeping a clean and modern look within each deliverable.
